Sam Nunberg – Director

Sam Nunberg is Director of the Legal Project at the Middle East Forum. Mr. Nunberg previously served as Deputy Director of Government Affairs for the American Center for Law and Justice as well as a Delegate to the U.N. for the European Centre for Law and Justice in Manhattan, New York. In that capacity he worked on legal and policy measures concerning the State of Israel, the ICC, promoting sanctions against Iran, international human rights and First Amendment jurisprudence.

Mr. Nunberg played a significant role in opposing the construction of the Ground Zero Mosque both at the New York City Landmark Commission hearing and subsequent legal action. He also advocated against both the ICC Prosecutor's consideration of the Palestinian National Authority's attempt to transfer jurisdiction to the ICC under the Rome Statute and the legal conclusions of the UNHRC's Goldstone Report. Mr. Nunberg has also advocated on behalf of the European Centre for Law and Justice in opposition to the OIC's 'Defamation of Religion' resolutions in both the 64th and 65th UN General Assembly Sessions where the votes in favor declined in each session.

Mr. Nunberg has a B.A. from McGill University and a J.D. from the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Mr. Nunberg is admitted to practice before the District of Columbia and is awaiting admission to the bar of the State of New York. He is based in Manhattan, New York.

Adam Turner – Staff Counsel

Mr. Turner serves as staff counsel to the Middle East Forum's Legal Project. He is a former counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee where he focused on national security law. His expertise include FISA, the international law of warfare, foreign sovereign immunity and the US law on torture. As committee counsel, Mr. Turner helped pass legislation making it easier for victims to sue and collect damages from state sponsors of terrorism. Prior to his work on the Committee, Mr. Turner served as an aide for Senators Arlen Specter and Rick Santorum, both of Pennsylvania. Mr. Turner holds a law degree from George Mason, a Master's in Political Science from American University and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Penn State.

Ann Snyder – Legal Fellow

Ms. Snyder is a fellow at the Legal Project of the Middle East Forum. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Snyder began her career as a litigator in Philadelphia and is currently a practicing attorney in Pennsylvania.
