Despite criticism from the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), House Majority Leader Adam Hasner's methods and motivations remain clear to him.

Hasner told the Boca Raton News he believes that those criticizing him ultimately represent radical Muslim elements out to destroy America - and that his actions earlier this year -- and more recently in legislative action -- are nothing more than his exercise of free speech in opposition to those organizations and persons he believes wish to harm the nation. 

Hasner told the Boca Raton News "I refuse to be intimidated by a group like CAIR that has legally documented ties to the Muslim Brotherhood -- a radical organization that is on record as stating they want to destroy America from within thru the imposition of Sharia law."

That was in early May - and since then Hasner has taken an even more pro-active approach to dealing with his critics.
